When I go to purchase the Windows version, I get a message that the payment is going to TheKompany UK. Is this correct? I thought Thekompany was no longer involved in Rekall? How can I purchase and ensure that the money goes t the right place?

The Kompany UK is owned by us i.e. Series One Software. The PayPal account name is a hang over from the days when we did have a relationship with TKC. We are seriously considering dropping this account and setting up a new one. But before we can do that I would have to set up a private account in my own name and then after varification by PayPal I will be able to set up a completely new business account. Since I already have a personal account on PayPal I could make the switch right away. Do you think that would avoid this kind of confusion in the future?

Yes, changing it from the kompany to something else will make things
a lot less confusing.
Another thing that will help is mentioning the relationship/history of Total Rekall with TKC in your FAQ, as I'm sure it is frequently asked, and the
only information about it was hidden in a bunch of forum posts that have
now disappeared.

We are also considering changing the project name from Rekall (another like to theKompany.com) to Rasqual, which is a play on the words Remote Access SQL. Anyway I have already changed the PayPal to my personal account. Once this has been approved by PayPal I will then set up a new business account under the name "Series One Software"
