I see in the Rekall help that Table Queries, Rekall Queries and SQL queries have attributes. I want to change the "where" attribute of a Query within a form and re-execute the query, but I can't see how to get hold of the Query Object that is associated with the Block.
Am I missing something or do you have to close and re-open the form using parameters.

I'm very interested in knowing the solution to this too. The documentation
mentions "Table Query" etc properties but getQuery() doesn't work,
and in the sources there does not seem to be any mention of bindings
to these objects in the sip interfaces AFAICT.
I noted that in Feb someone asked a similar question on the mailing list
and received no reply. I'm hoping this is doable!

The Python interface is Mike's baby and to be quite honest he is a bit of a forgetful so and so when it comes to keeping up with events on the Forums; he much prefers people use the Rekall mailing lists. There may I suggest that you email him directly, since I believe this is a serious ommission in his part. Mike can be contacted at . FYI, Mike is moving house this week-end so he won't have an internet connection until the middle of next week

Take a look at kb_block.cpp in /libs/kbase, there you will find getQuery, which returns a pointer to a KBQueryBase object. I am not sure myself so I have sent him a copy of the two original posts

Yes getQuery is implemented in C++ and available as a public method
in the header, but I don't see it implemented in the SIP interface file for
the python binding, nor do I see a python binding file for the Query classes.

I've sent an e-mail to Mike and he has told me that version 2.3.2 has the following functions:
setUserFilter
setUserSorting
that allow manipulation of the query. He is planning to backport them to the 2.2.x series, so there should be a solution to this problem soon.
